A 10 CMD (Cubic Meters per Day) or 10 KLD (Kiloliters per Day) Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) for the pharmaceutical industry is a compact system designed to treat 10,000 litres of industrial wastewater every 24 hours. These plants are critical for removing complex organic loads, active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs), and high TDS (Total Dissolved Solids) to meet CPCB/SPCB compliance standards.

Treatment Process Flow:- 

1. Collection & Screening: Removes large debris and particles.
2. Oil & Grease Removal: Traps floating contaminants.
3. Equalization Tank: Stabilizes flow and neutralizes pH levels.
4. Physico-Chemical Treatment: Coagulation and flocculation to remove suspended solids and heavy metals.
5. Biological Treatment: Microorganisms degrade organic matter (reducing BOD and COD).
6. Tertiary Treatment: Sand and activated carbon filtration, followed by disinfection (UV or Chlorine) for final polishing.
7. Sludge Management: Dewatering and safe disposal of solid waste
