Bio culture powder for a Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) is a blend of beneficial microorganisms and enzymes used to enhance the natural breakdown of organic waste, reduce odors, and improve the overall efficiency of the treatment process.

How to UseThe bio culture powder is typically activated before use and then introduced into the sewage treatment system.
Activate the culture by mixing the daily dose with clean, non-chlorinated water and stirring thoroughly.
  1. Let the mixture sit for 15-30 minutes at room temperature for optimal microorganism activation.
  2. Dose the solution directly into the aeration tank or the inlet chamber of the STP, or continuously over 24 hours via a dosing pump.
  3. Maintain optimal conditions for the bacteria, which generally include a pH range of 6.5-8.5, temperature between 20°C-40°C, and dissolved oxygen (DO) levels of 2-3 mg/L.
  4. Monitor the system performance regularly and adjust dosage as necessary to sustain microbial activity, especially during high-load periods.

Bio-Cultures, to treat solid & liquid waste, such as 3-in-1 Compost Culture, Odour Removal Culture, STP Culture etc.

“Our core strength is in the R&D and manufacturing of Cultures, required to treat solid and liquid waste, such as 3-in-1 Compost Culture, Odour Removal Culture, Sewage Treatment (S.T.P.) Culture, Effluent Treatment (E.T.P.) Culture Bio-toilet/ Septic Tank Culture, Culture for Bio-mining of Municipal Waste and many more.”

Key components:-
  • Microorganisms: A diverse blend of beneficial bacteria and fungi that are naturally occurring and non-pathogenic.
  • Enzymes: Biological catalysts that speed up the breakdown of specific organic waste components.
  • Nutrients: Essential food sources and growth factors that support the growth and activity of the microbial population.
  • How it works:
    • Waste Decomposition: The microorganisms in the bio-culture break down complex organic compounds into simpler, non-toxic forms.
    • Process Optimization: It enhances the natural biological processes within an STP, leading to faster waste treatment and reduced treatment times.
    • Environmental Benefits: By digesting waste, bio-cultures significantly reduce BOD and COD levels, which are key indicators of water pollution.
    • Odor Control: They effectively control unpleasant odors by breaking down odor-causing compounds, creating a more hygienic treatment environment.
    • Improved System Stability: Bio-cultures help stabilize the STP system, making it more resilient to shock loads (sudden changes in wastewater inflow).

Bacterial culture for a Sewage Treatment Plant (STP)—often called bioculture—is a specialized blend of beneficial microorganisms used to accelerate the biological degradation of organic matter in wastewater. Key Functions and Benefits
  • BOD/COD Reduction: Significantly lowers Biochemical Oxygen Demand (BOD) and Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD) levels by consuming organic pollutants.
  • Odor Control: Eliminates foul smells (like ammonia and hydrogen sulfide) by digesting the organic sources of these odors.
  • Sludge Reduction: Decreases the total volume of sludge generated, which lowers disposal and maintenance costs.
  • Faster Commissioning: Reduces the time required to start up a new plant by rapidly establishing a healthy population of MLSS (Mixed Liquor Suspended Solids).
  • Shock Load Stabilization: Helps the plant recover quickly from sudden fluctuations in wastewater volume or toxicity
